After a night of Pro Clubs, everyone knows how many goals the team let in. Fewer know how. Finding them in a VOD several hours long takes time, and the video session often never happens. Vodmora finds those goals and cuts them into clips, match by match: two hours of VOD are ready in a few minutes, so the session can happen the same night.

Goals conceded, by default

When you start an analysis, Vodmora cuts the goals conceded by default. It finds every goal of the night, match by match, and recognises your team on its own, in 11v11 as in Rush or The Grounds.

If the VOD leaves a doubt, Vodmora still picks the most likely club and shows it on the result. Another club is one click away, without a new analysis. To guide it from the start, enter your club abbreviation in the advanced options, as it appears on the scoreboard: 2 to 4 letters or digits.

A result grouped by match

Clips appear as soon as they are ready, grouped by match. For each goal conceded, the results screen shows:

  • its moment in the VOD;
  • the score before and after;
  • the clip length.

For a Twitch, YouTube or Kick replay, the Watch in the VOD button, followed by the time of the goal, opens the original replay at that moment. Go back a few seconds to watch the move build: the lost ball, the positioning, the duel that was lost.

For a video session, make the clips longer instead. With Custom, set up to 120 seconds before the goal, up to three minutes per clip.

An example: six goals conceded across four matches

On Youbs_’s VOD “All Star Elite - VFT” (1 h 21, EA FC 27), Vodmora found six goals conceded, spread over three of the four matches. Six 11-second clips: just over a minute of video to review every goal conceded that night.

Real timeline of the night: 4 matches, 3 goals scored and 6 conceded.

Share with your team

Analyses belong to a workspace. To share them, create one for your club:

  1. In the workspace switcher in the sidebar, choose Create organization.
  2. Name it after your club.
  3. Choose Invite teammates, then enter each teammate’s email address and role. Each of them gets an email with a link to join the workspace.

Three roles are available:

  • Admin: invites and manages members, and starts analyses.
  • Member: starts analyses and views results.
  • Viewer: views analyses and downloads clips, without starting any.

The analysis quota belongs to the workspace: the whole team shares the same monthly counter.

Prepare the session

  • Run the analysis the same night or the next day, while the session is fresh and before Twitch deletes the VOD.
  • To review the goals scored as well, run the other side from the result, on the same video. The best ones make vertical clips for TikTok and Shorts.
  • Download the clips you want to keep: they are deleted seven days after the analysis.

A 10-minute video session

Six goals conceded in 30-second clips make three minutes of video. The rest of the time is for talking it through. A simple plan:

  1. Before the session: everyone watches the clips on their own, from the club’s workspace.
  2. 3 minutes: play every goal conceded back to back, without comment, to see the whole night at once.
  3. 5 minutes: go back over each goal. Pause on the lost ball, then on the final pass.
  4. 2 minutes: keep one or two things to change in the next match, no more.

Questions to ask

For each goal conceded:

  • Where did we lose the ball, and who was closest to win it back?
  • How many players were behind the ball at the final pass?
  • Who was tracking the scorer? Did the marking change during the move?
  • Did the goal come from a cross, a long shot, a counter-attack or a set piece?
  • Does the same pattern come back in several matches that night?

When the analysis ends, the “Goals conceded reel” button joins these clips into a single video, in the order of the night, ready for the session.

The user guide covers the settings and the cases where an analysis fails, and the Pro Clubs page sums up what Vodmora does for your club. Create an account to analyze your next night.
